ROC nationals with residence registration in Taiwan are often called "registered nationals". ROC nationals who would not have home registration in Taiwan (generally known as "unregistered nationals") do not qualify for that Identification Card and its related privileges (e.g., the best to vote and the appropriate of abode in Taiwan), but qualify fo
